I've known Eniak for about two years. He's a fixture on the street, usually on intersection of Boulevard & Ponce. He told me he was born with deformed hands and legs. He panhandles and does odd jobs for money. I've run into him dozens of times and we've talked briefly about everything from politics to football.
Most of the people I meet on the street are passing through or temporary residents. Time passes and they fade away. Eniak is one of the few who remain.
